They are made up from all levels from Rookie Ball through Triple-A. Each level is represented equally. Other schools provide you with no current Major League Umpires, and a limited number of instructors from the middle-to-high levels of the Minor Leagues. Their staffs are made up of a majority of first year instructors. No one can match the experience the senior members of our staff bring to the table.
-
An umpire training program that has procuced the most professional umpires in history. In recent history, though we’ve sent the same number of students to the evaluations course, our Wendelstedt trained students have consistently received the highest placements in professional baseball than all other current schools. We don’t just train you to get jobs in the Minor Leagues though, our training prepares you for positions in the Big Leagues. We have produced more Major League Umpires than any of the other schools in history, combined!

Staff |
||
Comprised of 14 current Major League umpires, and 17 umpires from every level of Minor League Baseball equally. We are proud to announce that the 8 of the last 10 Major League positions went to umpires affiliated with the Wendelstedt Umpire School. |
No current or former Major League umpires on staff. Have only one AAA umpire on staff. Remainder of current umpire staff consist of A and Rookie level umpires with very limited experience teaching or umpiring. They only have 9 staff instructors total. High staff turnover rate. Consistency challenged. |
Having a Major League umpire stop by for a day or two to hob-knob or pal around pales in comparison with the experience that our staff of veteran MLB umpires, instructing you on a day-to-day basis, will provide.
By far, we provide you with the most well-rounded staff ever available!
